Some of the Miss Higher Learning team attends to a patient at Muhimbili National Hospital

Movit Products Tanzania, in partnership with Miss Higher Learning, has donated an assortment of Movit brand products to over 500 patients, in Muhimbili National Hospital, Dar es Salaam.

The beneficiaries of the items are mainly women and children who are receiving treatment in one of the country’s biggest national referral hospitals which register over 5,000 outpatients a day.

The initiative held to further commemorate International Women’s Day aims to support in-patients with basic needs required while on sickbeds, besides medical bills.

A total of six wards were reached out, providing packs of Movit Baby Jelly, Movit Family Soap, Baby Junior Jelly, and Baby Junior soap.

Led by the Chief Executive Officer of Tanzania, Mary Kibugi, the team had the privilege to also visit the Orthopedic and Hydrosephulus institutes at the hospital. The two organizations treat women, and infants suffering from hydrocephalus.

Miss Higher Learning is a pageant that provides university learners an opportunity to compete for the Miss University crown in Tanzania. The winner directly qualifies for the Miss Tanzania beauty contest.

Movit Products Tanzania and Miss Higher Learning have a partnership to scout and support young talent through pageants. This partnership was further extended to a CSR initiative that benefited Muhimbili National hospital. The partnership is organized under the Radiant brand.
